About me:

My name is Julia Medeiros and I have been working in the sewing industry for over 23 years, and ever since I can remember I was absolutely fascinated by the process of creating unique clothing for myself, my customers and friends. Since 2004 I have been managing my own atelier with a team of professionals. I make patterns, cut fabric and do fittings myself.

I have Bachelor’s in pattern making, apparel technical design, and sewing techniques and Master’s in Business Administration degrees. Additionally, I have studied leather working techniques, for in-home textile design, Adobe Illustrator, multiple patternmaking and fitting techniques.

I work with all different types of fabrics: cotton, wool, silk, chiffon, leather... knitted and woven.

I have made innumerable: dresses, gowns, skirts, blouses, shirts, coats, pants, suits... just name it! I have also made a lot of curtains, tulles, pillows, duvets, chair covers and other in-home textiles.

I feel very blessed with all my grateful customers and students, who always encourage me to work even more!

Why did I start teaching?

Because of my desire to share professional experience, knowledge, and love of fashion with other people as well as to help them implement their ideas in creating their own style.

J.A.M. Fashion House offers a wide range of classes that

are suitable not only for adults but also for kids as young as 4 years!

I always do my best to make every lesson both valuable and enjoyable!
